Who We Are
Template Bets is a fantasy-football-led betting site, built for UK FPL players who already bet on football. We started Template Bets to fill an obvious gap: every gameweek, the FPL community converges on a small set of captains, transfers in, form players and defensive stacks. That consensus is itself a betting signal — but no one was packaging it for the bookmakers in plain English. So we did.
Our Mission
Help FPL-savvy bettors find the bets they were probably going to look up anyway, faster, with less noise, and without a tipster trying to sell them anything. Every gameweek you should be able to land on a single page and see, in two minutes, what the FPL community is on, what bookmakers' markets that maps to, and what the prices look like.
We are not in the business of telling you who will win. We are in the business of translating what FPL managers are already saying into the language the bookmakers use.
Our Services
- Weekly template bets. One page per gameweek, broken into captain picks, transfers in, transfers out, defensive stacks, form players and one-week punts.
- Accumulators. Ready-built combos — a Template, an Anti-template, a Wildcard, a Free Hit, a Triple Captain and a Best of the Week — assembled from the same signals.
- Single-leg markets. Each player row is mapped to the bookmaker market that best matches the FPL case: anytime scorer, scorer or assist, shots on target, team clean sheet, team to win.
- Free, every week. No paywall, no Discord, no Telegram tip group. The page is the product.
Our Approach
We read the FPL consensus across the most-trusted community sources, identify which players are agreed on, and surface the bookmaker markets that match. Where multiple sources agree, the conviction is higher and the suggestion sits nearer the top of the page. Where the case is weaker, the suggestion is flagged accordingly.
Odds are sourced from UK-licensed bookmakers at the time the page is generated. They move; the price you see was correct at extraction time, and we always recommend you check the current price on the bookmaker's site before placing a bet.
Editorial Standards
Our commitment to readers is simple. We don't promise winners. We don't use phrases like "guaranteed", "lock", or "free money". We don't hide the affiliate disclosure. We surface what the FPL community is already saying and what the market is offering — the decision to bet, and the loss if it goes wrong, are yours.
